Our Story

Hi! We're Alex and Kate Smith - besties, husband and wife, parents to our little girl…and BUSINESS PARTNERS!

With over a decade of experience in the Tech & Real Estate industries in NYC, we founded Zhuzh It Up, an event rental brand, in 2024. While we had lots of initial success, we put Zhuzh It Up on pause when we got the opportunity to launch the first ever Scream Truck franchise at the Jersey Shore.

Now that Scream Truck is up and running, we’re back with a new and improved process, and a new location! We’ve honed our collection and have pivoted to a pick-up only event rental model where customers can pick up their flower walls and ball pit rentals easily from our new hub located right off of exit 105 on the parkway in Tinton Falls, NJ.
